“During the past few weeks I’ve reminisced about the 20+ years I’ve been doing hair and the 15 years we have owned the salon. I realized that yes I love all things hair, but what I will always cherish most is the relationships I’ve built. I’ve watched your families grow, your children go off to college and some getting married and having children of their own. I’ve seen you through cancer treatments, cutting your hair before chemo. I’ve gone to the hospital to style your hair one last time. I prayed for you when times were tough and together we’ve celebrated your joys in life. A lot of you have seen me grow up as well. From my hot pink hair and mohawk, to becoming a father with my dad hair and dad stories. You cried for me when my father died and celebrated when I married the love of my life. I am a truly blessed man because I have been touched by all of you. Thank you for your support over the past several years, and especially through these hard times.” -Anthony
“It is in moments like this that we find ourselves reflecting on our lives. I have really been reflecting on all we are blessed to have; all of the things that truly matter- our families, our friends and our health. We are enjoying this time with our family (even if on Zoom), while desperately missing our friends (you!) and being ever so grateful for good health. I have faith that we will overcome this with a new strength. Because in our distance we have learned new ways to come together. Thank you for showing up for your salon. We cant wait until we can show up for you again soon!” -Corinne
“During this time that we’re unable to see you in the salon, know that I am thinking of you, sending well wishes and hugs from afar. This has no doubt changed all of us. I’m looking forward to sharing new found appreciation for many of the small things once taken for granted. Thank you to all essential workers and their families for the sacrifices you’re making to ensure we get through this.” -Shalay
“I know this is a difficult time for us all, but I pray that you are staying as positive and healthy as possible during this crisis. I will say, I am grateful for the family time with my son, Hayden. We have enjoyed fun bike rides and walking our dogs. But, I miss you all so much! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. See you soon and God bless.” -Shari
“During this time I have become a champion of connect four, a sorcerer of Jenga and when I’m not dueling my opponent, I’ve been brushing up on new ways to make your hair even more fabulous! I can’t wait to have you back in my chair! Stay patient. Stay healthy. Stay strong!” -Kasey
“Please know that you & your families are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you lots of love & I can’t wait to see you all again back at the salon.”-Lauren
“‘Keep your face to the sun and you will never see the shadows’. Helen Keller’s words often come to me in trying times. Happiness isn’t always easily seen or heard, but it is there. The light is there in our friends, our communities and loved ones. Know that we are thinking of you during this strange time. Stay safe, be kind to yourself and those around you and be well. We will get through this together.” -Jasmin
“I miss seeing all of your smiling faces, the funny conversations and warm hearts. I know that we are all fighting battles during these hard times. Just know that you can overcome anything thrown your way. You are stronger than you know! Thinking of and praying for you all daily.” -Stacey
“Times like this are tough for everyone. Try and keep yourself busy or push yourself to learn new things. During the last couple of weeks I’ve been pushing myself to learn more techniques and practicing color on my family members. I am beyond grateful to have my Salotto family to support me getting started in this career. Stay home, stay safe and Happy Easter.” -Katherine
