The balayage technique is sweeping the beauty nation, leaving its metallic predecessor foiled in comparison.

A derivative of the French verb balayer meaning ‘sweep away’, balayage is a customized technique geared towards a lower maintenance grow-out with no harsh line of demarcation when those inevitable roots start to grow in. This hand-painted technique offers a soft transition and is a lower maintenance option for blondes, brondes and can even add a little sun-kissed pop to any color tone. Perfect for the color novice and can be a great way to transition back to grey.

This technique is a true form of art. Less uniform than foils, the creativity of your Stylist and the sweeping motion of a balayage brush can give you a painless lift with pops of light framing your face.
